Has anyone ever tried Weight gaining pills or Protein Shakes?

I need to know if Weight gaining pills or any other type of weight gaining supplement you have tried really puts on pounds.

If so, give the brands or a URL.

my brother takes protein shakes for muscle building, it's York brand whey protein shake, and it tastes DISGUSTING! (think they all do) , I don't know whether it actually works or not because he's only been on it for a week or so.

would give you URLs but we're in the UK so don't know if ours are any good to you...
