Who do you save your mother or your wife? Who gets to live?

You're in a boat with both your wife and mother. You're the only one who can swim. The boat turns over and both your wife and mother are screaming for help. You can only save one of them, who do you save? Who gets to live?

Well, as a mother and a wife, I would hope my son would choose his wife. She comes first, before all else. They deserve a better chance, a longer life, to have children and grow closer to each other.
If I had to choose between my mother and my husband, it would be my husband hands down. I love my mother greatly, but my husband comes first. I vowed to put him before all others when we got married. My mother would understand that.

I would die trying to save both of them. I couldnt live knowing there was even 0.1% chance I could save the both and I chose one over the other.

If neither of them could swim, they should be wearing life jackets. That's irresponsible to allow them on the water without them.
An overturned boat stays afloat long enough to haul both to it to hang on. I'm the wife, but I know my mo-in-law would have demanded that her son save me first. That's the kind of woman she was.

I would pick my mom. After all, people get divorces all the time, but no matter what, your mom is always with you through thick and thin.

duh, your wife. Yea it is your mother but your wife is supposed to be the person you love more than anyone in the world.
