Dont offend Him by rejecting Him. Keep Him present by being joyful and acknowledging Him and praying in the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is not bothered by a haunted place. He is more powerful than those other spirits. Pray and ask for His help and presence . . .
That is, assuming you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord of your life? Without His blood, there's no way to have the Holy Spirit with you.
