I think as long as it's decafinated it's cool. Of course juice and soda have lots of sugars and diet soda and juice have those fake chemical sweetners which I think are just as bad. Anyway, I think a glass or two of juice that is naturally sweet, you know, no high fructose corn syrup or sugars would be a good source of vitamins. Look for 100% juice and check to see if it contains fructose, syrup and such. Unless you don't care. Then I'm rambling for no reason!

I agree with Lilia. I suppose that a liquid with water in it, such as Kool Aid, MIGHT work, but Kool Aid contains at least a cup of sugar per packet. That would be enough to make my teeth ache if I weren't pregnant (seven months), but with the baby, it's off limits. Just remember, EVERYTHING you consume, your baby consumes. Personally, I drink nothing but OJ (usually just about eight ounces a day), vanilla soy milk (about eight or sixteen ounces a day) and filtered water. I'll have coffee a few times a week, but I mix half decaf, half regular.

It might be best if you talk to your doctor about this. However, flavored water, or flavoring it with lemon and/or lime might be helpful, too. Just remember that some of the flavored waters contain calories.

Sure you can! Anything that has water In the mix. Things like juices (any flavor), kool aid, teas hot and cold are good for you. You just don't want to drink anything that will end up dehydrating you and your baby.

It is better to drink pure water. Your body needs this water go help with the toxins in your body. If you only drink juices, your liver and kidneys have to work very hard to filter all the sugar and extra things your body doesn't need.

Sure! You can drink Kool Aid, juice, water, milk, whatever is not carbonated and you like. Water gets boring after awhile, I know.
Congrats on your pregnancy!

Water cleans out your system. Juices don't do that.
