Ok kids lets talk a minute about gratitude(doesnt have to be in a religious sense either) just i would like to know what your grateful for today, or for the year, or for whatever. the reason im doing this question is for purely good reasons, see you cant be down if your talking about something your grateful for. And for that one instance when your not down and depressed or pissed off, your grateful for""""""""""""""Which means in my own little twisted way im doing my part to try and make the world a bit happier a sec at a time, just remeber the light at the end of the tunnle just may be you.So please answer this question what are you grateful for today...:)

It's funny, but I was feeling really sorry for myself once. Then on my way to work, I saw a blind man without any hands waiting for the bus. No kidding. It really does put things in perspective.

I went to India once, I saw a beggar. He was a grown man only three or four feet tall. His legs were horribly twisted, and appeared to have turned to stone. (There is a disease like that, osteitis deformans where flesh calcifies and becomes like bone.) He was smiling. He looked right into my eyes and nodded as if to say "hello."
I think I gave him some money. I've never seen anybody like that; such a terrible condition and he seemed to be so comfortable with himself.

I'm grateful for my job, my wife, my dog, my house, my accomplishments and my family.

Thank you for the post, excellent point.

I am grateful that I am alive, that I have a fairly supportive family, very supportive friends, an education, and the potential to do something with my life through helping others.

I am grateful that I am alive and that I had the chance to experience life.
And for my wonderful family, the love I lost and the love I will get again when I go to heaven.
xx

I'm grateful for a great family; there are so many of us and we all just seem to compliment each other! And I mean the family outside of my immediate one!

my mom has a lot of mental illness and refuses to talk to me for things i am unclear of. i use to take for granted how wonderful it is to have a family when i was little. now that i have no real family in the world, i realize how you should take every little thing that means anything to you in consideration.

i am grateful for my wonderful two roommates that i have who would do anything for me, and vice versa. they are my family now. and my cats also, those little creatures that we call pets are more than just that, they are little beings that love you with all their hearts. :)

i am so thankful for my hubby and my son. my husband is my best friend in the whole world. he is always so positive and since i can be difficult to deal with at times its nice that he is there to comfort me and at times when i feel so down in the dumps and feel like the world is after me my husband will remind me that the world is not out to get me and espically him. my son.........ugh he is the reason i care so much about myself. he is the reason i care so much about improving myself..........so i can be a great example to him. i know this might sound like a selfish answer.......but its those people in my life that make me reflect on what ive got or what i need to improve......for their happiness.

Before I go to sleep I count my blessings. My list is too long to write here. I usually start with having a bed, with a roof over my head, and my husband next to me, and I go from there.
