yawn...okay wilderness...even more comparable since..Buddha went into the wilderness, thanks for clarifying.

I think the scenario was a little different than what you said, but I get the point. Jesus , the human side, contemplated using his knowledge and power to possibly rule the world to change things. Christ, the spiritual side , said no. Jesus Christ knew what he should do and what God wanted him to do. Spiritual man triumphed over mortal man.

Get real people! If you are stupid enough to go into the wilderness or sit under a tree and starve and suffer, all kinds of hallucinations are likely to occur. You will see devils, and pink elephants, and have all kind of weird things going on in your head You DO NOT take anyone who does that seriously.
They did in the old days, when people didn't know much and were extremely gullible. Now we know a whole lot more, and all that kind of stuff should be consigned to the dustbin of history. A very big and important part of human evolution, but utter nonsense nevertheless!

Yes there are a lot of similarities between Jesus and Buddha. As well as that story that Jesus traveled and studied with Buddhist.

ok it was wilderness but people we are talking desert when we speek of the wilderness of that part of the world. anyways DING DING DING you got it one the jesus being tested in the desert is in fact a hijacked version of budda being tested.

first of all jesus never went to the desert but went to the wilderness, and there is no comparison with Buddha why?!

if Jesus did excised then Christians have really screwed up what he tried to say and got it all wrong......Christianity is very dumb!
