If you are relying on a book still that you are not living under the new covenant.

You mean if I couldn't find a Bible in the house or if they all just suddenly disappeared? Then I would rely on the Book of Mormon and living prophets. It's the same Gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of the Atonement. Then I would gather as many people as had memorized parts of the Bible and reconstruct it, going back to any ancient scrolls on hand as needed. I could give you Matthew 7:12 right away and some other verses with a little prompting.

I know quite a bit of God's word already. Christians are to get the word in their hearts so that no one can take it from you. We then become walking epistles or walking bibles. I, like so many others, can share the word of God with anyone and I don't need a bible to do it. That is because I've done my best to get the word in my heart. What would I do if a bible was no longer available to me?...Write what I know down and trust God for the rest!

Yes, Trust Him. I have another thing that I would do, remember what I do know.
Like this, from memory:
Oh Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth,
who has set thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise, that thou might still the enemy.
When I look to the heavens, the work of thy fingers,
What is man that thou art mindful of him, the son of man that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and crown him with glory and honor. Thou hast given him dominion over the works of thy hands, thou put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, yea the beasts of the field, the fowl of the air and the fish in the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the sea.
Oh Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the Earth.
Things like that I have in my head. I would expect that I would remember to write them down on whatever I can. So that I could have them with me. That was Psalm 8 by the way. It may appear to be a little different than what is in the Bible. I have avoided a few Masoritic attempts at changing it.
Good question.

Yes.
Mostly because the Bible hasn't always been around and people still knew what to do before it had been compiled, or translated from Latin to English and published to the public.
That and I haven't read the Bible cover-to-cover.

I totally agree with Curiouser... I don't consult the bible on a regular basis and when I do it for inspiration. I don't believe the bible to be "The" word. That's ludicrous, the fact that it was written and compiled by man makes it inherently faulty.

I have had no access for over 50 years through choice, there are better history books out there to read that probably are a little more accurate.

Jeremiah 33 states that the laws and new covenant would be written on our hearts. God would not leave us or forsake us.
The Holy Spirit would teach us.
Wait for the tribulation. I believe this will come to America, as nonbelievers are trying to push Christianity out to the USA.

Catholics would still have the successors to the Apostles. Jesus instructed them to pass on His teachings; He did not drop Bibles from the sky.
"Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.'" -- Matthew 28:16-20

Yes, I would do what I do every day, which usually doesn't include the Bible. I look to the Bible as a source of, inspiration, if you will, but it doesn't dictate every aspect of my life.
