i make mixes to make baking easier....i need to make a pizza well grab a pizza mix out of the cupboard add some shortning and water and boom its pizza same for pies and brownies.....today i wanted to make a pumpkin pie...i just sounded refreshing and we are having pizza for dinner.....well i was in a hurry and i grabbed the pie mix for the pizza and the pizza for the pie.....now i have a yeast crust on my pie....is that going to be gross...should i just throw it out the pizza wasnt too bad with pie crust but the pie i think is a lost cause

Give it a go, it can't hurt can it. If it is that gross, then throw it out but you could have invented something quiet yummy :)

If you have not already baked the pie, I would take another baking dish, spray it with Pam and pour the Pumpkin Pie filling into the dish and bake. I do this all the time. Why waste extra calories on the crust anyway? If you haven't baked it yet, I would rinse off that yeast crust and make the pizza. You can still have both.

Provided that the pie crust did not rise too much and the pie is still intact, it should not prove to be 'gross.'

When I was working in a pizzeria, we used regular pizza dough to make sweets...the apple calzone was a favorite with customers. It was pizza dough topped with apple pie filling, folded in half and pinched shut with a cinnamon and sugar infused margarine brushed on the crust.

Your pie should be fine.

taste it and let me know lol the pizza might be a little sweet, unless you used a garahm cracker crust... then it might be a biut nasty...
