Advertising for this filth was banned many years ago. The actor who played District Attorney Hamilton Burger went on in an advertisement against smoking when he discovered he had lung cancer due to smoking, he died a short time later.

yes, there are cigarette commercials here in the Philippines and after each commercial it says "Government Warning: cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health"... funny eh?!

I think the only advertisements that they are allowed to make anymore are in magazines, but I havent seen any cigarette ads on t.v.

not in the usa........i heard the new tv show, the Madmen, about advertising execs. from the early 60's...the actors actually have to smoke "herbal" cigs for the show, like vanilla or strawberry.........yuck,,,and what "testing" has been done on that junk to see what it does for your lungs?
