Okay, here are some things that you may be doing wrong:
Diet
- You may need to decrease your caloric intake and change your diet a little. Try using www.thedailyplate.com to monitor and gradually decrease caloric intake.
-You should seriously schedule your meals, eat 5 small meals(i.e: 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12, 3, 6pm)
-You may be consuming the correctly recomended amount of calories, but you could be eating things that aren't helping you meet your goals. Maybe you are eating to many carbs and not enough protein. The Daily Plate will also tell you if you are working out enough to offset your caloric intake.
Exercise
-Most people do not push themslves hard enough in the gym. You can't get on the elliptical machine for 30 minutes, barely break a sweat and call it a day. I am a trainer and usually, this is what people who aren't successful in loosing weight usually do.They do a piity-pat workout that is ineffective.
-Running is a good way to shed pounds, you just can't do it too many days of the week, it can be bad on your knees and joints.
-You should be breaking a sweat. A good way to figure out if you are working yourself hard enough is to go to a class, try an aerobic class at your gym. It should be designed to get your heart rate up appropriately and for the right amount of time. Also, classes will motivate you to put in more effort.
-Eat at something with carbs-for energy at least an hour before working out and protein after working out-it is important to eat after working out. You could have a protein shake after working out for example.
-Unless it is a very intense workout, 30 minutes is not enough.
I have lost over 60 pounds in a year, but it took perserverance. You have to constantly adjust and readjust. It is a learning process, don't get frustrated.
Be patient and don't give up!
I hope that this is helpful, good luck!

post some of your meals or what you eat in a day.
many think by simple making improvements in the diet that there will be an immediate response from the body in terms of fat loss. depending on how long unhealthy eating practices were followed or how long the person was overweight it may take months before the metabolism shifts to a point where there is measurable fat loss
many also consume too few calories, the bare minimum should be what "your" BMR requires. and depending on your level of activity in the gym and outside the gym you may need to increase the cals on top of that for there to be fat loss.
another common mistake is when people cut cals and start exercising regularly at the same time. this acts as a form of trauma to the body and can cause the metabolism to slow. you should start to exercise as much as you plan to for several weeks then slowly start to decrease the cals by around 10% each week.

33 fat
90 carbs

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.com

You might want to start watching your carbs and fat. You are supposed to have like 25 carbs or less in one meal and 10 fat or less in a meal. Good luck!!
