Why do men stare at pretty girls (like me)?

I am 20. I am from Indian heritage--meaning from India. I have incredibly light, fair skin. But, it is not yellowish-white. I am petite. All the time men stare at me and drool at me--boys ranging from 17-59. I don't like when old men stare at me.

I do no ever wear sexy clothes. I wear full-sleeves and pants--even in the summer. I never wear sandals or show my feet. I have no *** and small breasts. I do everything possible to not act sexy or look sexy or talk sexy. Why are they STILL staring? I need help...please. What else can I do (to turn them off)? I am thinking of getting glasses so I look more nerdy.

Some guys are gay. Some are very preoccupied. A man on his way to court won't do that much looking. Some like a particular TYPE of woman like BBW or dark skinned women or women their own age and we can't all fit every man's type no matter how pretty we are. The sad sad times are the guys I thought weren't interested that I later find out simply assumed they didn't have a chance, when they really would have. Sometimes they are just plain shy!

Maybe they think you look good.(that's for the people 17-30) as for the older people, I don't know. If you are a pretty girl then I'd probably look at you maybe a little flirting(not stare) then I'd talk to you instead of glaring at you like I have an eye condition. Actually getting glasses would be a turn-on for me. I'm attracted to girls who wear glasses(at least the ones who look good in them)

well men or boys stare at girls 'cause they want attention. Did you ever try talking to them? Acting "not sexy" is not the answer. some men/boys like you 'cause you're personality. wearing full sleaves in summer...hwo does that feel? try relaxing, having fun. Do u have a bf? If not, anyone starin at u, talk to them. If they ask u stuff like bieng gf and bf's, just tell them you're not intrested in stuff like that yet

Hehe, enbrace it don't deny it. Better that they look at you because you're beautiful rather than thinking 'god she's hideous' Attitude is everything. I'm the type that just walks up to the hotties and has a real conversation while others just sit and stare. It is an asset. Enjoy it. -J

LOL i tried to look ugly myself like wearing a hood over my head so i wouldnt get stares and attention too, becuase im so sick and tired of just ANY man coming up to me and asking for my number or if i have a boyfriend.....it sounds like a broken record!!!!!!!!

the trick is to not make eye contact, if someone is staring at you then quickly look back, becuase once both of your eyes are locked on each other, he may be the first to smile, then it makes you smile so you wont seem rude, then he comes along and BAM conversation starts, or another thing, get some sun glasses.

i dont like older men looking at me either, but for someone i attract them, makes me feel dirty and like i'm locked up in thier basement EEEEEEEEE!!!

Your only hope is to start eating and quit bathing. Guys will always look at a woman/girl if she's skinny fat or in between. It's their nature and can't be helped...If you're fat, though, they will only look to see if you're hot. Even fat chicks are f$%#able if they're hot. I'm not trying to sound like a pig, it's just that all men are pigs and I've gotten many best answers from just telling it like it is...not what you want to hear. It sucks but it's real.
