Do we still hold the title in the UK or are other nations catching up or overtaking us on the binge drinking! I like to think im doing my fair share to keep us up there ;)

The Irish are known p!ss heads but having been drinking across the world, the best people to go drinking with are the Ozzies, the Kiwis, the Irish and the Germans.
The hardest drinkers in the world without a shadow of doubt are the Russians. The Belgiums are quite decent and, surprisingly, all the Colombians I met (quite a lot when I was in Colombia) can drink a LOT.

Well we are quite high in the ways of Binge drinking. But id say the Russians are pretty big at drinking

The Scots and the Irish? Saying that I like a drink at weekends like the next person but I'm not proud of the fact this country has this bad reputation. Especially for the kids out there ruining their livers and not realising it. This country is going to self destruct. Liver disease is the biggest threat to health (apparently) amongst the younger generation along with obesity and its up to parents and the government to sort it out and fast.

Well I'm doing my duty up in Scotland the only challengers are the oz who's with me on a drink them under the table duel they can pick the beverage and we will drink till we pass out if they pass out first they have to buy the kebabs and have their faces painted with permanent markers (the weakest of the fall asleep first at a party forefit)

I think the difference is that countries such as Russia ad the vodka and france with their wine is they are not in it just to get hammered out their faces, they are enjoying their alochol. us brits on the other hand drink to get pissed. Us Scots are ironed bellied (or is the way it's portrayed) but I'm sorry to say that whenever theres trouble with drink (abroad especially), the english are fingered as the culprits - getting lairy with it!!

I don't know if we hold the title, but we get the most attention, because sadly for alot of drinkers drinking is the highlight of their day and they get out of hand.

Um, I went to Denmark, they are proud of their Iron Bellies. Their clubs were open until 6am! That was in a SMALL TOWN! (Skive) Everyone was drinking, and I'm not a drinker, it was something they found really hard to understand!

Redneck hillbillies. This species is found congregating in large groups in trailer parks all across rural United States. The mighty redneck also known as trailer trash have been known to consume large amounts of cheap beer then go on rampages *terrorizing surrounding suburban areas.

There are some pretty 'big' ones in the States!. I thought that the Norwegians & Germans were fairly high up the list ... oh yes and the Icelandics!.
