I am happy with any War, specially if it is a World War, I wish a huge War ( USA ves Russia or Chna, USA vs Germany and France, England ves Germany, etc ) with millons of deaths. Why o I like it? Its because Class truggle is easily fueled during Wars, common people dont want to die or lose their scarce properties. I "pray" every day for that Gargantuan War,Stock Markets willl plummet, Millons of lay -offs will stir proletariat, Youth will be a fertile oli for agitation...
I love crisis , thats how we , the Communists ,breed.

I agree with the purpose of the war. Although I do not agree (in hindsight) how the war was carried out. My reason: I don't believe you and I are the only ones that deserve freedom. I believe it is our moral obligation to help free people whenever possible. And if along the way we can kill some terrorists/syrians/iranians, all the better. I do wish it for it to be over soon though.

ndgbill has been watching to many videos on conspiracy theories.
Those who oppose the war at this point are thinking that it is only about money.
The United States declared independance in 1776, was granted independance in 1783, and 4 years later they developed a constitution that was useful.
We are asking that Iraq do a process that took us 11 years, in 4? Thats rediculous....They are in a civil war...and newly out of dictatorship.
We found no weapons of mass destruction, true, however we did bring a dictator to justice and freed 27.5 million people from his dictatorship...
You hippies dont know the cost of freedom, the casualties of this war are equal to many minor battles of the past..
You stupid middle school graduates need to read history, and lists of casualties.
This is also not a draft war, those who go, chose

Yes, we have a responsibility to those hard working people over there.
We got rid of Sadam. He clearly needed removal. Yes, he had WMDs (chemical) used against his own people. We were not lied to, as so many want to believe due to media bias. Then, the terrorists chose to meet us there, on that battlefield. Terrorism, a cowardly way to scare people into retreat. You cannot believe all that is portrayed in the news. There is good going on there, we just wont hear it from the media. It goes against their agenda. Trash Bush at all costs that they may get their guy/gal into office next.

I dont agree with going in the first place, but hey, hindsight is 20/20. I think that now that we are there we should fix it before leaving, otherwise I think there will be very long civil war with death tolls that are hard to imagine.

yes and yes i've been there twice.i've talked to many iraqis not one of them happy with the former regime.better than 90% of them had family that had starved or died of a simple medical condition(like the flu, measles, childbirth, broken bones, infection, etc.)this is thanks to the baath party/saddam regime closing it's borders.what supplies did get in were squandered on building saddam and his sons palaces.sadly even his own family were victims of his greed.when you drive down the streets of little town like al duluyah and palawada that you see just how bad the living conditions were and are.then you turn around and go into the palaces in tikit and baghdad.then you will see the true oppulence that saddam lived in.the one major complaint that all of the iraqis that i talked to had was that things have gotten less safe.now they have to fear for there children to go outside and play.what is needed is not for us to pull out of iraq but rather to put more troops in iraq and work as police until they have an effective one of their own.the most crucial thing of all is to show solidarity with these people and the only way to due so is to remain until they trust us.yes that could be 10,20,or even 50 years but if we put out of iraq prematurely we will create hundreds of thousands of enemies.

Just reading the replies here explains just how ignorant many are of the facts.
Here are a few facts:
Bush's atrocity in Iraq was/is an ILLEGAL war of choice based on a pack of filthy ,vile lies.
Bush's Iraq atrocuty has NOTHING TO DO WITH BRINGING FREEDOM,LIBERTY and DEMOCRACY to IRAQ but was all about what it is always about an d that is US "national interests" in this case OIL OIL OIL OIL OIL !!!!!
The ignorance of many here is evident in that they do not even know the historical reality of the US .
The US has for almost a century now used/abused/violated the countries of the Middle East and the people's of the M iddle east.
After WW1 the US along with other victorious allies carved up the Middle East for themselves ensuring all got a piece of the oil pie.
\To accomplish this atrocity ,the allies simply made up countries from whole cloth like Iraq and Jordan irrespective of the fact that the people in these places wanted no part of the new "countries " as they did not respect the ethnic realities.
In 1953 the US did one of it's graetest abominations and that was the destruction of the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF IRAN all over oil and replaced this DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT with their own ruthless/murderous ,right wing puppet dictator, the Shah of Iran who over the next 26 years slaughtered thousands of Iranians who political tried to bring freedom and democracy back to Iran.
From 1979 to 1990 ,the US fully supported the Butcher of Bagdad Saddam politically, economically and militarily even when the world discovered that Saddam had committed crimes against humanity with the genocide of the Kurds. To make matters worse, the bloody US threatened reprisals on a number of UN members if they voted for a Resolution that would have condemned Saddam.
Don't any of you dumb, stupid, ignorant Americans (not all Americans)give me any of your crap about Bush's war having anything to do with FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY .
To this day,the US continues to militarily, economically and militarily fully support a bunch of filthy bloody murderous dictatorships from Saudi Arabia to Egypt.
Except as propaganda BS ,the US's verifiable history is that it doesn't give a damn about the people of the Middle East or elsewhere.
So far America's crime against humanities war in Iraq has resulted in the SLAUGHTER of over 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI civilians so do not look to me or any others in the world for sympathy for the 3500 or so soldiers you have lost.
You will notice I had at least the respect to refer to your war dead as soldiers but your bloody military and your GOVERNMENT refer to these 400,000 slaughtered humans only as COLATERAL DAMAGE.I can just imagine Americans outcry if anyone dared refer to the innocent victims of 9/11 as COLATERAL DAMAGE .
You bunch of monumental hypocrites.
The URL gives you ignorant Americans a glimpse into the horrible atrocities you and your government has committed.

Whole hearted support!
1/20/1961
"WE SHALL PAY ANY PRICE, BEAR ANY BURDEN, MEET ANY HARDSHIP, SUPPORT ANY FRIEND, OPPOSE ANY FOE TO ASSURE THE SURVIVAL OF LIBERTY. JOHN F. KENNEDY."
All attempts to this point have failed. War is always the last choice. Looks like this is the last chance.
