Some pointers from the site below: (also keep the dialog open with her - talking thru fears with someone non-judgmental does a world of good)
Try and eat a healthy, whole foods diet with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Try and include foods that are rich in the B vitamins, such as whole grains, nuts, green vegetables, eggs and fish.
To help lift moods and help calm anxiety, keep away from processed foods and eat more natural products. Also what we drink can have an affect on our stress levels. Although drinking alcohol seems to have a calming effect short term, it dehydrates the body, leaving us feeling more anxious than ever. If you feel you can't give up altogether then just try and moderate it.
Avoid fizzy drinks loaded with sugar, instead drink plenty of water, I am personally not a big fan of water and drink the flavored variety which is fine also. Avoid caffeine, which can make you feel nervous and jittery, try a herbal tea if possible.

Has she seen a doctor? Anxiety can be a symptom of a number of physical and/or emotional problems. It can also be a symptom of simply being 15. But a thorough examination can make sure. Her doctor can recommend a clinical therapist who can teach her relaxation techniques that can be of great help with no recourse to drugs at all.
As for foods, fresher is better. The fewer processes it has been through before she eats it, the less liklihood of some chemical additive causing the problem.

Get some St John's wort capsules at the local drug store. Have her open the capsules (filled with the green herb) and pour it, or mix it, in foods or drinks. Spicy or hot foods are good, and any other food or drink of her choice. St John's wort, is a well know over the counter herb used to remove anxiety and stress without any side effects or addiction. It works, as millions of people will attest to. By mixing it in foods, she wont have to swallow the capsule. The capsule will simply be filled with the crushed leaves of the St John's wort plant--usually green, sometimes brown. Good luck! By the way, it must be taken for 3 or 4 weeks before it becomes fully effective--for some people 1 to 2 weeks will do it.

I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks from a physical medical problem so i honesty think that you should take your daughter for a medical check, and see what comes from the results. Talk to the doctor about other options for her anxiety. All the best.

I think you need to take your daughter to the doctor to find out why she is having this anxiety. It's never a good idea to self medicate even with homeopathic remedies. And if the doctor decides she need medication they can get it in liquid form so she won't have to take pills.

Stay away from caffeine. No caffeinated Cokes, Mt Dew, etc.
These are the number one sources of hyper activeness and anxiety among many teenagers. Also, restrict sugar (a big no no), and chocolate.

Good answer about sugar, caffiene reduction. Increase in cardiovascular activity, I would add.
Anxiety is fueled by lack of activity. If you are busy, there is no place for the anxiety to hide. It will be burned off as you solve your daily problems.

Valerian Tea is helpful for anxiety, but you should take her to the doctor as well to make sure there is no underlying medical problem.

Massage can be used to help relieve anxiety. Also, try omega-3. You can get it from flax or any fatty fish such as salmon.

i don't think food will help her. What about a psychologist? A lot of health insurance plans cover so many visits.
