The truth is you can't fully remove the scar. Vitamin E is helpful, but doesn't remove it. After several years the cuts won't look as rough as they do at first, and will subside to nearly your regular skin level.
You need to accept and forgive yourself. No one else's opinion matters. When applying for jobs, you can try to cover them for the interview, but in the end, one day they will show. That is why you must forgive yourself and live with it the best way you can . You don't have to explain anything to anyone.
As you start to move about in the real world again, maybe some life skills counselling would help you to build confidence. There are many of us who have made this mistake - you are not alone. Take care little sister, everything is going to be alright.

I am a psychologist who does work on scar research. I have to read a lot of textbooks on plastic surgery and scarring. I am afraid to say that it is unlikely that you will be able to remove scars, but a treatment such as BioOil might be able to help. You should also be aware that that a lot of women think scars affect their attractiveness negatively, when in fact most men would say that they don't matter. So you shouldn't worry about them too much.

Some scars, if they're large or keloid, can only be removed surgically - but the surgery itself leaves a scar, and you could end up just as bad or worse than before you did it.

First and foremost... STOP CUTTING YOURSELF!
Second... try cocoa butter. It works to make the scars less visible, and in some cases can even make them disappear. If the scars are still "new", (not fully healed) use a Neosporin-style treatment.
Third, and finally... STOP CUTTING YOURSELF!
There is plenty of professional help available!

try vitamin e. but if they were deep enough and in abundance it may just be a scar you carry for life. but look at the bright side, one day it may remind you of how far you've come from "those days". we all wear scars whether it be on the inside or on our sleeve. they will fade.

Mine healed with time. Before they were completely gone they were a testimony when I became a Christian, and I got to tell people about how Jesus Christ changed my life.
