It wasnt that particulary hard. I did it in an hour on the cross trainer, but it didnt exhaust me, as exercise usually does!

As long as you are eating good and drinking alot of fluids, it is fine. Also, you can't just start burning 2000 calories a day through exercise. Unless your body is used to abuse like what you have in mind, I would recommend gradually increasing your exercise load. Some friends of mine have biked across the country, doing 70-100 miles a day. Thats around 8000 calories, so what you have in mind is plenty safe.

Sure its possible if you can hang with being sore while doing it. Because 2000 calories a day is a lot to and hard to lose and if you lose that much in a day then you must be doing some hard strenuous workouts

it is counter productive to decreasing body fat "and" preserving muscle mass unless you are making up for the calories that you are burning. creating that much of a caloric deficit will not cause a greater amount of body fat to be lost.
