I would like to see Religion & Spirituality get moved to the Mythology & Folklore catagory.

any other rational people out there think it is also absurd that Religion & Spirituality has its own catagory?

Hasn't the human race evolved enough to understand that the existance of any god-like being is a MYTH?

We havent evolved enough, but I support your request.

Of course it should be under "Myth" but the reality is, to many stupid people would demand that their stupidity recieve the respect it deserves....(sigh)....

EDIT: If it makes non-muslim religionists feel any better, I believe Islam should have be filed under "Disease".

All the bibles in the library moved under Fiction. Yeah, I know, I know, i've heard them all.

You, who are perhaps most angry about christians being closeminded and ignorrant and doing exactly the same thing by voting to not have to allow open discussion of something some people still believe in.

Someone reached the top of Mt. Olympus to find out there was nothing there some time or another, just give them time, everyone grows at their own pace.

Well, not to be rude, but you DO understand that it's only your OPINION that all religion is a myth, right?

It is my opinion that there is a God. It's ALSO my opinion that you're entitled to YOUR opinion.

It has nothing to do with being "rational." Opinions are rarely rational...and they're usually based on our own observations and research. MY observations and research has led me to the conclusion that there almost certainly IS a God. Yours has led you to the conclusion that there certainly is NOT a God.

It's still only an opinion.

And for some people (like myself, for instance), religion is a very important part of my life. It may be "mythology" to you, but to me it's a lifestyle.

Leaving aside any philosophical or religious point, the M & F section would simply drown. This section gets 50 times as many questions.

The only problem I have with that is that I like to hang out here. You get some even crazier stuff over in that section. I think that it might be a bit much to deal with.

You arent the only person in the world, buddy, and remember that if you live in the United States, people are free here, free to talk about their religion like they wish to! I guess we all know where you're headed!!!!

You do know by not believing in a god you are the minority. Majority rules.

Secondly, this is an official Christian drinking game question.

Jesus is NOT a myth! He is very real and will love you in spite of your unbelief while you live (grace). However, once you stand before Him when this life is over, His Holy righteousness will determine your eternal state.
