jewerly - wear or pack in your carry on - nothing sharp or "dangerous" looking.

food - no dice in the carry on but did lots in my checked luggage. HOWEVER verify with the airline as they change this one often.

medication MUST be in the original bottle with the prescription label. i've taken the OTC with all the time.

anything liquid must be in a 3 oz or less container and inside a clear zippered plastic baggie if you are taking it in your carry on - otherwise just check it (like shampoo). mascara, nail polish,, perfume - can ALL go through as long as it's smaller ounced items & in the baggie. i recommend having it on top and when you're at about the head of the line - get it ready to pull out and hand for the inspection - make them feel more secure AND helps speed up the line.

happy travels!

I had heard you do need a doctor's note for medication, but when I called the airline I was traveling on, they said just put what you need during the flight in your purse, and put the bottles with the pharmacy's label in your checked luggage. I had no problems. But do call the specific airline you will be traveling on. Call later at night because during the day you spend a lot of time on hold.

If you want to take food, you can, but not in your carry-on bag--

jewelry is allowed--

yes, you do need a doctor's note for medication.

try not to bring makeup--
it's not allowed

but you can just bring one compact or something, and a chapstick...

wht you should do is checkout the airport's website, or your airlines' website, or call them and ask--

and make sure you keep money w/ you
and an ID so they can compare ur name to the label on ur medications.

This covers it all. I used it while I was packing.
