We know that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins if we confess them. The Bible is your assurance of forgiveness.

Sister, the CROSS is a sign that He forgave you and the only sign you need. None of us should allow our emotions to dictate our spiritual healthy, okay? Stay close to Jesus in prayer and follow Him and you'll be fine.

if jesus is god and your just a human does it make sense that you have to accept him? i mean according to you religious folks he created you did you have to accept your mother or father into your life?, book of genisis we created , we being plural jesus was supposed to be there in the beginning as well or just a bad translation but it is preposterous to think that an all powerful god would be limited by a powerless individual, not that i belive anymore but my opinion is an educated one i used to be a preacher but now am an atheist.

I do not know about it being a "sign", but if you feel that He has forgiven you and given you peace, then He has. You will know this in your spirit and heart through His Spirit. We sometimes feel lost, that our trust and faith are not good enough, but many times it is just doubt and fear from the enemy. He is not happy about the Holy Spirit residing within you, and does not want you to grow in your relationship with our living God.

What does God's Word say about this? When Christ forgave you, it was for ALL of your sins... past, present and future. It is finished. His grace is sufficient. From the perspective of time, when He died, all of your sins were in the future to Him. So does that excuse us? Does this mean we can sin all we want? Of course not... sin still has it's hurtful consequences to God, others and ourselves. It still separates us from those we love. If we love them and value the relationship, we ask their forgiveness and express our sorrow for what we have done. We repent and try not to do those things because of our love for them.

Christians are His children, bought by His blood, sanctified by the Holy Spirit within them. We need to realize who we truly are now in Christ... as new creatures, reborn with a new identity and in a new covenant with our living God. Stand in your inheritance, abiding in Him and the truth of His Word. Thank Him for His wonderful love, so full of power and glory...

I hope you have found this helpful. E-mail me if you have questions about this. I would be glad to help you or anyone to know of the joy, peace and strength that we have in the Lord.

We have to go by what the Bible says. If you find anywhere in the Bible that says your forgiven when you stop crying, go for it. But I doubt it. 1, 2, and 3rd John will explain it.

I don't think that it is a sign or forgiveness, but that is a possibility. My opinion is that is a sign of the peace that comes from God when he enters your heart.

That's how an alcoholic feels when they take their first drink after months of sobriety.

it's a sign that you have accepted the cultist indoctrination of xianity. nothing more.

if you claim you are possessed by a spirit, or jesus, or whatever, maybe you should seek help.

PS: i really pity you. this obsession with spirits possessing you and steering you through life is so unintelligent, and unhealthy. i hope you get better. your post made me sad, it makes me realize that many people have a very dark, mindless future.
