i live in germany but im israeli
everytime i go to israel( only with my dad cuz my parents are devorced) in the summer i go watersking every single day and i stay there for about 8 hours everyday! its sooo fun! the place is located in a big beautiful park so there are alot of homeless dogs and cats ! one day i saw a really cute ,very skinny female dog . everyone there called her devek(glue in herbrew) because she kinda glued herself to people. most ppl didnt like her and threw sticks at her and hit her! only kids liked her but espiscally me ! every time some one tried to harm her i punched them and told them not to even dare to touch her! after about a week she followed me eevry where (even into th showers ) behind my back my parents tried to find out if it is possible to take her home but since my mom is such a blabber mouth she told me but i wasnt allowed to tell my dad ! then my dad told me we could take her to the doctor after we come bach from jerusalem ( i live in tel aviv)

Good for you!!
Your parents are very nice to do this for you.
Yes, she will get over her trauma. Dogs live in the moment and don't dwell on the past. She may be nervous at first until she learns to trust you and knows that you won't hurt her. Plus it will be hard for her to be in a new place at first, but she will be very happy when she gets used to it.
Make sure you train her properly and walk her every day on a leash.
It is not hard to fly with dogs, but every airline has special rules, so make sure your dad calls the airline to find out what you need for her to fly with you. She will need a health certificate and a crate for sure.
She will get along with your other dog, but is is best to keep them seperated when they are going to be alone at home together at first. She is probably not house trained, so you will need to do that as well.
Good luck with your new dog. You saved her life!

Wonderful story. Tear Jerker~
Now. The dog will have to be cheked out by a vet and have health certs done. SHe will get over her fear of people, but only WITH PATIENCE. I have found with rescues that daily walks will help greatly. The other older dog may be aggressive for a little while, so don't leave them alone together. Also, sho the older dog love when you show the new dog love, so theat the jealousy factor does not escalate.
Good Luck, and congratulations! I always like to hear about successful rescues!

is she ever gonna get over her trauma of people.
It sounds to me like she is just an awesome dog to begin with. She loves people, and Thank God For her, she especially likes you. I am sure with lots of love and some good food, she will over come much of her unfortunate beginning. She is a very lucky dog indeed. Or perhaps she is the angel sent to watch over you, and you are the lucky one.
-is it complicated to fly with dogs?
I can't imagine that it would be. People do it all the time. Call the airport and find out what all you need to do.

At first I am sure they will not just love each other. Mostly because they will both want you all to themselves. Just introduce them very slowly and with supervision. Make sure they each have their own food bowls. Most dogs who normally would not be nippy will be over their food bowl. I am sure it won't be long before they are fast friends. It sounds like you have enough love in your heart to make them both feel very comfortable. Good Luck with your new baby.

I think your story is beautiful and I'm glad your dad is so understanding,
It is a little nerve racking for the dog to fly being in a dog crate and all but she will adjust once you get her home,
as for her memory of people being mean to her that will take her awhile to get over,
she will be fine around the people she knows and knows wont hurt her but when people she don't know comes around she might be a little scared until she finds out they wont her her. I think if you slowly introduce your older dog to her they will be fine as long as you give them both attention and for at least the first month don't just let them go together you need to be around, this will be the time when both dogs will let the other one know where their limits are with playing, sleeping, and eating.
If you pick mine as best answer could you give me a star also, Thanks.

You sound to be a caring person, and this dog was meant for you, lots of love and tender care will soon have him trusting again. Flying should not be a problem, before you go get a vet to check him out, if necessary they may prescribe a sedative to keep him calm throughout the journey. I am sure you will have a happy life together. Good luck to you both

What a wonderful story. This dog sounds awesome. It is not difficult to fly with dogs. I've done it and the airlines are very accommodating. It sounds as though she is already bonded to you. This little girl will be just fine as she learns to trust you and your family. Take good care of her and God bless you.

Hi.' from U.S.A. !! Try to tie the dogs up on oposite sides of a room just to see how they might re`act to the sight of one`another !?! then day by day try other things that you may come up with until they see each-other more & more !! then only when you might feel they BOTH can be trusted let them get closer
