Okay, let us assume for a moment that Christianity is true.

It is *NOT* true that people become angels upon death. Under the Christianity-is-true assumption (not one I agree with... but...), God created angels and man separately, not interchangably. Even in the Jewish Talmud & Midrashim, only one soul, EVER, transubstantiated from human to angelic, and that was Elijah, who became the archangel Metatron, and that happened only because he was given access to the Vault of Divine Wisdom and such access would have destroyed a human soul.

Two kinds entirely -- angels, and, humans.

Christians who believe that people die and become angels REALLY need to check up on their theology.

No, and it doesn't say so in the Bible. We in the Christian faith, believe that angels are messengers sent by God, to help his children,, meaning those who are saved.. humans do not turn into angels. They are spiritual beings and were with God at the beginning..the Greek word for angel, means messenger..

The world of the angels is represented in the Sacred Scriptures as being extraordinarily vast. When the prophet Daniel saw God the Father in the form of the "Ancient of Days," he also saw that "A thousand thousands ministered to Him; and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him" (Daniel 7:10). During the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem "a multitude of the heavenly host" extolled His coming to earth (Luke 2:13

Nope... the bible doesn't teach that. It says that we all cease to live at death (Ecclesiastes 9:5, Ezekiel 18:4).
The only ppl who actually do become angels are the 144,000 that are selected to rule alongside Jesus as kings and priests in the new system. Even these didn't automatically get resurrected to spirit life until around 1918.

The belief you're referring to is based on the lie that we all posess an immortal soul that survives the physical death of the body.
Of course that seems similar to the words that Satan spoke to Eve via the serpent: "You positively will not die... you are bound to become like God"

No. That's not Biblical. Angels are a different kind of being. The Bible never states that we will become angels. After the judgement, when the saved go to Heaven, we may have some of the same characteristics as angels but that remains to be seen.

No. There is no basis in the bible for that belief. The bible teaches that angels are spiritual beings made by God. They are immortal and there are a finite number of them. They do not die. They are not the souls of children or dead people.

When we die, our soul is the eternal part of us that goes to heaven. We are still "us". We don't become angels.

No I believe that angels were with God when He created the world. They are sent to give messages to people. When we die I believe we will NOT become angels but will become servants of God.

Nope Rev. Will. Scripture says we were made a little lower and calls for no change. It says we will judge angels and a verse in Hebrews tells us what angels were really created for.

Interesting, because the fallen ones were really created to be our ministers; but know we will judge them! No wonder they are nasty killers!

Also shows that the devil, and his bunch, have gifts for helping to build great religious deceptions; and minister some mighty fine religious services. He was the prime minister of ministers at one time!

When people die their soul goes before God to be judged. They do not become angels!

No, when we die, we will not become angels. Angels are created beings (like humans). Right now while we are on earth, the angels are just above us. When we die...we will be above them.

I hope it helps!
