let me be clear. i'm not talking about committing suicide. but when you become sick, why do you even bother going to see a doctor? why bother with vaccines that will make you live any longer than you really have to? if heaven is all it's cracked up to be in the bible, why would you delay your inevitable mortality by going to see a doctor for medicine? you may suffer a bit, but doesn't suffering only bring us closer to god? your family may miss you, but why worry about that, once they die you'll be with them for all eternity? i bet if you never took any antibiotics or vaccines you could cut down your wait time to go to heaven at least in half. how about it?

You poor puppet of Satan.

It is for pitiful deluded fools like yourself that Christians resist the devil and death.

I belong to Christ and will tell anyone, anywhere, all they need to know to get Saved and become God's child.
But I am NOT a Christian that will fall at your feet in fear or grab you by the collar and try and force Christ down your throat.

For me to live is Christ! And to die is gain. But if I live on in this body, it will mean possibly leading more souls to Christ. And sometimes I'm caught in the middle, having a desire to depart and be with Christ for that is much much better, but to remain here in this life is better for your sake. (Go check out Philippians 1:21-24 if you dare!)

If you genuinely want to know Him, I'll tell you. But some morons just simply would rather go to Hell than Heaven.

Christ died so you wouldn't have to go to Hell. And He put a CROSS shaped roadblock on your road to Hell to keep you out of Hell.
But if you're Hellbent on going there, you'll go... unless some Christian (who chooses to live) tells you how to stay out of Hell.

Part of the reason I live is to tell you about Christ, and should you listen, I've gained a brother.
But if not, you will remember this answer in Hell for all Eternity,

You realize that all religions exist in a world that has no official religion and is therefore lacking religion, or Atheistic. You already do live in an Atheistic world. Atheists don't want money to deny God's existence, they just don't want it to talk about God because they feel it opens up other things of the State to be infiltrated by the Church. And I agree with them.

First off I want to say I am disgusted with some of the answers you got here, my friend...especially the Palo-something guy's answer.
Now to answer your question. Life is a gift from God, and not taking good care of it INSULTS our Creator. He is the One who has given people the knowledge of science and medicine and wants us to use them for the benefit of everyone.
Also consider the following verses:
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." 1.Cor.6:19-20

Like someone said before me, believe it or not, many people actually like to live (including Christians). God told us to take care of our bodies for it is His temple. By not using the "vaccines" and "antibiotics" as you mentioned, will be first of all--pretty dumb--and second of all, a disobedience. Anyway, I think this is a pretty dumb question.

The Bible doesn't say that you shouldn't see a Doctor. God gave gifts and talents to people , such as Doctors so that they could dedicate their lives to helping others.

who doesnt want to live??? we all wanna live, no one wants to die, and Heaven is great, but we know that if we wait just a couple more years heaven will be there...we like it here on earth, and once our time comes, we will get to go to some place better, but right now we dont wanna leave...we like it here, Heaven is just a better place we will be when our time is up, we still have things to teach other people, and we want to experience God's miracles...God gave us this life, why shouldnt we live it?

LOL. I asked my mom this one too. I actually don't really fear death (I'm agnostic and don't claim to know what happens when you die). But my conservative christian parents are always extra-cautious and really mourn when someone dies.

Now, I'm not saying your shouldn't mourn but I'm like, "What's the big deal? If you think they're going to heaven, why be THIS upset?" I mourn, sure, but I accept that it's a part of life. And I have to say I fear death a lot less than my parents do.

It's 2pm here. sorry I won't be able to make the party tonight.

Oh, you had a question...I guess I was blinded by your ignorance and didn't see it, sorry.

Did you want me to answer it?

Sorry, God was healing my eyes so that I could read the question again...

God told me to be nice and not write down what I wanted to write down :(
sorry, you'll just have to live without an answer from me :(
