Yes! Thank you for posting the petition for the other side. I sent the link on to 10 other people. I think it's morally and socially responsible to protect Planned Parenthood. The do a lot of good work. Their primary purpose is reproductive health - not abortions as the other side would have everyone believe.

There is nothing wrong with planning parenthood, as long as they teach how not to get pregnant in the first place,and help young women pay for birth control. And other health related issues.I just don't agree with abortion. Abortion should not be considered birth control. When abortion was first made legal I don't think many people knew just how human those tiny fetus's are. I read just today that at as early as 10 weeks gestation these "Babies" have perfectly formed finger prints. HUMANS have finger prints!

I think the point of Planned Parenthood is to try to educate people so that they don't have to get abortions. I also feel that by educating people about birth control and STD's they are doing many communities a great service.

Yes, in my morality it is. Far better to teach people how to protect themselves and to plan their families. I think they may help reduce the need for abortion is this regard. Although I prefer that abortion not be necessary I believe this is a personal choice and wouldn't want women seeking substandard care. Signed the petition.

Any organization that promotes health and education is fine by me. Just a small list of things that most Planned Parenthoods provide for the community:
- contraceptive (birth control) services;
- screening for breast, cervical and testicular cancers
- pregnancy testing
- pregnancy options counseling
- testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV)
- sexuality education
Any group that does things like that for the community deserves support.

considering what they actually do, yes. here's the MAIN things they do:
"Planned Parenthood health centers offer high-quality sexual and reproductive health care, including family planning, gynecological care, STI/STD testing and treatment, and pregnancy testing."
they provide these services on a sliding scale fee, and provide free condoms.

Yes, it is.
Signed.
"New Catholic", if you believe that Planned Parenthood promotes eugenics, show some evidence. If you can't do so, stop lying about it. You're just smearing Catholicism in the mud.
