Ideal weight for you would be somewhere between 145 and 165.
I'm a weight watchers lifetime member and a leader for the last six years.
Good for you, and your mom, for doing this together. It's so much easier when you have someone close to lose weight and support each other.
Don't worry too much about the total weight you need to lose right now. Just set smaller goals and reach them and hit another. Your leader will explain all this when you go Saturday.
Have fun and enjoy the journey!!!

Hello I am currently on weightwatchers.I am doing it online as my life is pretty busy with three kids so I feel I can fit in like this. I have done the meetings and I feel it is better. The reason I say this is that I feel chuffed when I am congratulated each week i feel supported etc..Dont be put off by meetings, the leader will never ever go mad at you if for instance you gained..also nobody else sees anything, the scales are discreet, your leader can only see how much you weigh and then will talk to you without anyone hearing. I feel the meeting gives you more incentive to try and lose that week and also you do get support so please dont feel frightened in going!!! I hope this helped..good luck & best wishes

Congrats on starting WW. It's the best plan out there. I too am on WW and find it pretty easy to stick with. I'm 5'4" and according to WW, I should weight 146, so I would think since you have 4 inches on me, your weight should be around 165. My best advise to you is not to be discouraged if you don't loose as fast as you would like. Slower is better. I've been on the program for about 16-17 months and have lost 33 lbs. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but I am able to keep the weight off longer if it comes off slowly. Best of Luck to you and your mom!

i'm actually really quite happy that you know you need to lose some weight to stay healthy and i congratulate you (:
now you're 14 around my age hmmm. but you're taller i heard that for every inch after 5 ft. you need to add 5 pounds. so i'd say 140. but that's all B.S. due to muscle weight and stuff (: so i'd say anywhere from... 130-165 is good. (: GOOD LUCK
