I think in China, unlike in the US, your ethnicity actually makes a difference in your eligibility. If you are a US citizen of Chinese ancestry, it is easier for you to become a citizen there.

Have you been there before? You should live somewhere for a few years I think before you do something that you may regret later. I would think it would be easy to be a Chinese citizen, check with their embassy. Be careful, if you ever give up your Us citizenship you will have to apply for a visa to visit the states if you ever want to return. You may never get back in.

You cannot quit being an American citizen, you can carry a duel citizenship but you cannot stop being an American. You cannot be in a foreign Army without being charged for this by the American government or serve in any capacity of a foreign government against the American government.
I suggest you be very careful of what you do, your walking on thin ice and are going to get a cold bath.

well you hafta answer a couple of questions first:
1) can u honestly say u r a good driver?
2) how many Chinese can fit into a standard 40' ocean container?
3)do you have a hard time accepting responsibility when u phuck up,or do you blame others for your mistakes?
4)have you ever made tennis shoes in a hot non-air conditioned warehouse?

I would not renounce my U.S. citizenship if I were you. I would just try to go dual. In about a year, you are going to realize all the wonderful things about being an American citizen, so you need to keep your citizenship.
