You can probably find an amaretto extract or artificial flavor, but if you cook with the liquor, it will taste better. The alcohol will cook off, so you shouldn't feel the effects of it.

No, it's not a dumb question. Amaretto is almond flavored liqueur. So a teensy bit of almond extract will work the exact same way.

if is calling just for "Amaretto" is most likely calling for the liquor , otherwise it will say extract or flavor and it will not say Amaretto it will probably say almond hazelnut extract / flavor

both exist, but i think if it was calling for the extract it would say it...i would go with the actual cordial...not a dumb question at all!
