No hard to understand Fast Food Workers
No Spanish signs on the wall everywhere
No need to bother learning Spanish
Easy Communication.

I don't know about you, but between my and my friends we really don't care about them coming in, we just want them to learn some god-damn English. And I personally endorse an instant citizenship program for any immigrants who can speak fluent English.

Then again me and my friends all go to college and are pursuing careers that couldn't be taken by an Immigrant.

Remember, If they were given citizenship, they could unionize and demand fair pay and benefits would be required by federal law to them so they wouldn't be able to go under the table for low wages more then anyone else.

I would be more tolerant of illegals if they were here to assimilate, and not sponge off the welfare system, and tax payer medical programs, and commit crimes, or send the American money they earned (without paying taxes) back to Mexico. If you are an immigrant that wants to come to America to be American I will shake your hand and share a Tecate with you.

No. How do you really know that a immigrant can't persue the career you want? I know many people who would love to immigrate to the US who are in college and have been speaking several languages for many years. You can't look down on them just because they are from another country. Nobody is safe and everyone can be replaced.Be careful..You sound very arrogant and like you really don't care what happens to the USA as long as your butt is safe.

Personally I think if you are wanting to live in a country other than the one you were born in you should learn that country's language, no matter what it is. I feel that illegal immigrants should know english, but they should also need to take a citizenshp class and be willing to fight for the country just like everyone else who was born in America.

No, BECAUSE THEY SHOULDN'T BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! Does the word illegal escape you? You say you don't care about them coming in, but do you pay taxes? If you aren't a slacker and have a job, I bet you do. 12 million illegal immigrants eat up a nice chunk of our welfare and social security. In places like California, they are paying for these people to be jailed for multiple offenses and many years. You say you don't care, but illegal immigrants cost this country billions of dollars a year. Just because you go to college doesn't mean you are guarenteed a great job. Personally your attitude sickens me.

The language barrier is not the issue for me. The fact that they disregarded our laws is the issue. The fact that there are people who have been waiting years for visas and citizenship, and that the illegals just skip in line and take what they have not earned yet. That is my issue. It is not abour race or language or anything else but the law.

It's still illegal and should stay that way. They need to come through the gate so we can make sure that they don't pose a security threat to our country. That would be a lot easier though if they already spoke English.

Really and truly, it's all about the law. Whether they speak English or Romanian is of no concern of mine. I lived in San Antonio and now El Paso, and it is not about their English competencies.

No. An illegal immigrant is still breaking the law, even if they speak perfectly fluent English.

NO! They are breaking the law and shouldn't be here. Language has nothing to do with it. I am against illegals from England and Canada too!

No, because there are illegals here that speak English, not all illegals are hispanic, just most of them. IMHO I do not care where illegals are from, just want them to go back there.
