I am trying to find the Oklahoma statues that apply for reasons
under which unpaid child support arrears will be reduced.

Child Support programs are administered based on federal regulations. The big question is to whom the money is owed. Is it owed to the parent or to the state? Under federal regs. money owed to the state can be reduced if it is in the best interest of the child i.e. the family has reunited. Unfortunately, I think you are going to have a hard time getting your local CS office to assist you on this. Try a Family Law Attorney for guidance.

You can get the information through a local office of child and youth or child welfare. Child support is figured using a set formula and reductions usually take a court hearing.
