Not entirely, the definition of meditation is a lot more precise. Reflection, is looking at ideas were as in meditation the goal is to normally clear the mind.

Reflection can imply a simple "passing thought", not determined soulful meditation.

If you call meditation "reflection" that's OK.

It's just a matter of the connotations of VERY similar words. Truth is not expressed very well by our limited human words often.

The Holy Spirit "translates" our limited human words. Meditate or reflect, and God reads your thoughts.

Don't always speak words (in prayer) but allow Him to speak to you. Think on the virtually unspeakable truths that you've experienced!

Listen for that "still small voice" inside you, that may be your conscience (at least) and is possibly His wisdom.

Reflecting is thinking. Meditating is trying to detach from thought and just be relaxed in consciousness.

Reflecting is realising what you're really like - meditating is avoiding that.
