i had a strange dream/nightmare this morning. what does it mean?

I don't remember much about the beginning and middle but i remember around the ending i felt lonely and alone in my room. the room got darker and i got scared because this dark, skinny demon creature with long crazy hair grabbed my arms and looked at me with these big black scary eyes. When it grabbed me my arms went totally numb. when i woke up my arms were still numb. i didnt want to get out of bed for a while because i thought if i went to that one spot in my room that creature might appear. it sounds crazy but i was that scared. and what's very weird is that i always dream about this creature every time im in a dark or dimly-lit room and i feel alone and/or lonely in it. thats why whenever i dream about being in that kind of room i try to wake up right away. i just want to know what this might mean. i studied about dream interpretation in psychology and i try to interpret what the dreams that stand out the most mean to me but i would like someone else's interpretation of it as well

....It means someone else is trying to get you to wake up and see the light. Is there something or someone your trying to avoid because your scared of what might or might not happen? Maybe its just like your dream...its time to face your fear.

You either need to consult a witch doctor or a psychiatrist.. I had a problem far more greater.. i sleepwalked all around my house in the middle of nights.. at time i got really violent in my sleep without realising it.. i went to see a psychatrist and it seems im suffering from split personality.. during those days i used to be under heavy pressure.. after all these years now that im with my girlfriend, it dunt happen to me animore.. maybe because no i dunt bottle up stuff within me and i let it out to her...

You know what the explanation is rather simple, but believeing it is harder for people because they do not believe the realm of God, devils, and angels exist. Whenever demons come to people in their sleep they always bring "fear" with them. That's why you are afraid of dimly lit places now, because this demon has inspired fear in you. Demons use fear to torment you and to harm you. But more importantly, demons enter into your life through avenues which people have opened the door for them to come through.
