I don't know when your wedding is, but if it is spring or summer you could try using Lime green as an accent color. I know it sounds shocking at first, but do a search on the internet for a combo of the two colors and they are amazing together! Especially a Bright red and lime. They really create a "Hey look at this" color scheme!!

yes u can!!! That's my color also. Have several types of flowers in the bouquets...this will give it texture and also different shades of red. U can also have pearl pins pushed into the flowers to break up the reds or put in some green hydrangeas or ivy. Use some white flowers if u don't like green. The reds of flowers varies so greatly that it can be pulled off quite elegantly! Go to the florist and have them show u all the red flowers that are available and have them suggest what reds will go together. Also bring in a swatch of ur dresses so that the flowers can be more easily matched.

If you have bright red dresses you probably want dark red flowers. That is if you are going to do red. I would probably pick something else or get some contrasting colors in there. I would speak to a florist about your dresses and what they think you should go with. After all you are the bride, they are the florist, they will know more about the flowers.

I would like to see a contrasting color mixed in with the red flowers, so the flowers will stand out better. Otherwise, you'll have red flowers against a red background.

I would think red flowers would be all right as long as you incorporated a little white or another accent color in there. You don't want too much red. Besides, the bouquets would blend when it came to the pictures.

I don't think it would be too much red if you put another accent color in the bouquets...maybe white or cream flowers? Just to break it up a bit.

My cousin did. Red dresses and red & white flowers. It was pretty- I was a bridesmaid and our bouquets were mostly white with a few red accents (gerber daisies) and her bouquet was mostly red.
Reds are hard to match though so you might keep that in mind.

May be too much red. Try a contrasting color like green. You can do white flowers with lots of greenery in it. It would look amazing.

Buy a little fake flower bouquet at the dollar/craft store and have your maids try the dress on with the flowers to see it sounds great but might be too much

someone asked this question before and I remember seeing a suggestion for those calla lilies that are red but fade to orange- that sounded like it would look really good. There are so many shades of red flowers, you could do a really interesting arrangment in reds and other complementary tones and I think it would look great.
