If the US would take military actions against Iran, what other countries would get involved? On both sides?

Obviously, Israel and probably Britain would be right there w/ the US. But what about the rest of the Middle East? Or countries anywhere else in the World?

Downtown- If the prophecy is occuring (I think your talking about Armaggedonn?), that has China and Russia coming down against the US and Israel too.

When this happens & it will, its prophecy. Syria, Egypt, and Jordan will have their panties in a wad over it. Most the Arab League will get involved somewhat, but this won't really get gritty until about 3-5 years from now.

Let's get real here.

Does anyone seriously think the current Congress would give any authorization to the current Administration to attack Iran? Is anyone ignorant enough to think it could happen without new authority? Does anyone think that would be a smart move for a president with just over a year to go, with a hostile Congress and even more hostile media?

Russia will side with Iran, regardless of who starts what or why, and that will be obvious before the echoes of the first explosion fades.

If you want to talk about Armageddon, at least get educated on the prophecies. China and Egypt are not mentioned, nor does it indicate Israel has any allies when it happens. It's just them and God, but that's enough.

Russia and China could join hands with Iran and Pakistan will turn against USA too and supply nuclear weapons to Iran! Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, will go against US and attack Israel. US would want India to invade Pakistan and China. Taiwan and Japan would be encouraged by US to attack China and Korea. Europe would launch an assult on Russia. Venezula and Cuba would launch an attack on US, apart from Russian, North Korean (North Korea will dig out all hidden nuclear weapons) and Chinese missiles hitting US cities. All the left-over small nations will have to cling to someone of their choice. What follows that scenario is obvious!

The invasion of Iran could only be justified following another US “false flag” operation (which many in the west are now waiting for). If this happens, not only will Russia and China have the right to be outraged – many citizens in the US and Europe will be as well. Invading Iran would be the last straw for many who have seen our civil liberties and rights diminish because of the Bush administration policies, propaganda and downright lies justifying the “war on terrorism”.

I could foresee a lot of civil unrest in our own countries should this occur – this will be the last straw for many decent people who can see through the smoke and mirrors of our current leaders. “Tit for Tat” retaliation by other world super powers would have to be expected – and rightly so, the world’s oil supply is running out and we would be taking their share in Iran.

it's hard to say for some reason our politicans keep taking the side of out enemies and telling people not to side with us.They also say we are losing a war that we are making progress in. I don't get why people can't see how important it is to our safety not to leave Iraq right now. Thanks Nancy Pelosi, and Al Gore, and Harry Reid.

I'm sure any insurgants left would go to Iran, maybe N. Korea, since they are pissed at us, because we won't let them nuke us. So Big Kim Jung Ill but no.

Israel would not join the US; the US is simply their pawn to do what they want. Israel has not gotten involved in Iraq, but we are there as a result of their lobbying. Notice that the most outspoken people for us to attack Iran are the jewish political leaders and commentators: Leiberman, for example, is very outspoken. There is no reason to take military action against Iran, they are not bothering us, so why do we continue to bother them? We stick our nose in everyone's business, and should stop doing that. Over 3000 americans would still be alive (soldiers killed in Iraq) if we had used the evidence we had and not attacked Iraq. That number pales in comparison to the 10s of thousands of Iraqi citizens that have been killed in the conflict we caused.

Israel would join the US.

I can't really think of what the rest of the Middle East would do.
