Basically, anything you get from a vet is going to be both safe and effective. Anything you get from a store is unlikely to be effective, and possibly not very safe. Don't buy cheapo store flea and worm products, really it's not worth it! I

I'm afraid you have to pay out for decent treatment - as with everything, you get what you pay for. I don't know Wormeze, but if it's available in shops then stay away. I looked it up on the net and apparently it only treats roundworms - you really need something that treats tapeworms as well, which a veterinary treatment will. Stick with what your vet provides - something like Drontal or Milbemax.

talk to your vet they will be able to give you something and be able to tell you the correct dosage and all that stuff.
