It is true...there was a story about it in this weeks Army Times...that is how I found it...he was put out of the Army for the same thing...he is under indictment as we speak...the story in Army Times is better than the website...but you have to pay to see it...

He is on the front page of the Army Times...the first thing that struck me as being wrong was that he had a Special Forces Tab at the rank of CPL...as anyone who has served will tell you, after you finish SF School, if you are an E-4 you make SGT...and plus he did not have a SF Unit Crest on his BLACK Beret...

Well, that site is run by his wife (soon to be ex; annulment papers are trying to get to him), which is me. The information that is on that site is 100% accurate. Ok, I put the a ribbon thumbnail (where the rest of his fraudulently claimed awards are) on there when it should be a tab or vice versa; if you see something military related that is wrong, please pass it along and I'll get it fixed. The website was originally bought to be ‘our’ website; post pictures of what we’re doing etc (D=David R=Robin). Of course now it has a different spin on it…

My references have been triple checked and then checked again. Even had the feds look it over to make sure there was nothing on there I shouldn't be posting..

So, no worries - it's all there for the public to read. The FAQ list was built based on the questions I'd received and been asked so I compiled them and posted them. The links to all the local news stories are real, I’m even in some of them. And, the POWNetwork.org has even put my website next to his name.

Another misconception about that site is that it's done to be vindictive which is not true. My purpose is to inform the public of his lies. His MO is swoon people in with his heroic tales and using his charm have them fork over large ticket items such as cars, GPS’s, cell phones etc. I paid for his actual divorce when I was told it was for a child-custody battle.

Now, one could think that these women are stupid enough to fall for it, then it’s their problem. I was only one of many many of those women he fooled. Had I known about his antics, I’d have made a more informed decision.

Just my .02

-Robin

Just another fraud. You might want to check out a book called "Stolen Valor" by Burkett and Whitley. They deal with a number of these self-created "heroes" who never served one day.
I can also still recall a CBS documentary entitled "The Wall Within". Narrated and hosted by Dan Rather it purported to show how the war in Vietnam had screwed up the lives and health of a half dozen or so veterans of the war. Trouble is, none of those guys had ever been in Vietnam!
You'll also see it with the "homeless vets". But, the "journalists" never check the nomenclature on these guys because the reporter would think a DD-214 was like something out of Greek literature. We had a classic out here in the West. Fellow was treated for over thirty years at VA medical facilities, including a VA nursing home. Died and was buried in a VA cemetery in Arizona. Only one problem. He never served one day!
Right now there is a guy awaiting trial in NYC for posing as a decorated, retired Lieutenant Colonel. He attended a lot of military balls and the like at the Soldiers', Sailors' Marines' and Airmen club in mid-Manhattan. In reality he made it to Corporal in the motor pool and did only three years.
Thank God we know have the Stolen Valor Act. The Feds can now step in and send these clowns to prison.

For those of us that served quite honorably with little or no distinction or hoopala this kid is the epitome of stolen valor.
Viet Nam (Gulf of Tonkin) Navy Vet 1963-1966, USS Buck DD 761
Desert Storm Army Vet 1990 1991 served as Military Policeman (838 MP Co.)
Retired US Army 6/52 Aviation Battalion.

Hard to tell if it's true or not. But wrong info can be collected. I know when I got out of the Army and tried to buy a house, they said I couldn't because my background check came back stating that I was in prison. Another one stated that I had a child and never paid child support. Turned out the kid was 1 year older than me.

Already looking at his files and see some inconsistency in the info.
Yep, too much inconsistency.

Could be a corporal if he was busted down, but given his time in service, even SGT is very unlikely. Corporal indicates he was in charge of his own shop.

Otherwise, don't know enough of his story, though the MOH is too easy to check. That is obviously fraudulent.

a waste of meat. we've had a couple incidents not exactly local but nearby. i've actually talked to a few bozos of the same ilk. their stories usually fall apart under scrutiny.

edit: yeah the first thing that struck me was that baby blue and stars. they don't pass out CMH every day.

That site shows me four things:
1. It is far to easy to get a domain name.
2. Some people have too much time on their hands
3. Some people can't resist getting in to someone business.
4. If any of the facts on the site are incorrect, the author could get sued.
