i love making lasagna, unfortunately my other half doesn't really like it so i can't make it that often.
my next favorite would have to be a cheesecake.

Every year I have a party for about 40 people where the main dish is 4 different kinds of soups. I love making them, particularly Potato Cheese soup from the Silver Pallet cookbook. That one is always on the menu. I have fun choosing and making the others. Desert is at least 15 kinds of cookies and candies which I start making at Thanksgiving. The party is always the Saturday after New Years and is a lot of fun.

It is odd, but I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner, especially the turkey. It gives me the chance to try new recipes, and to really put my heart and soul into the meal.
After cooking all day (sometimes over a couple days), by the time the meal is ready I am not hungry. Its great to see others enjoy it though.

Anything I have to put some effort into. Like when I make enchiladas I make the tortillas from scratch, the sauce from scratch, the fillings from scratch. Or crab bisque. One day is crab legs, I save the shells and make stock, and the next day make soup. I love all day cooking and thinking of what needs to be done next. 20 minute meals aren't as fun. :)

Mine's barbecue. Not half-raw, half-charred chicken tortured on a grill, but barbecue, the real deal. Pork shoulder treated with my special blend of spices, marinated overnight, barbecued in a horizontal pit smoker at 225' (F) for 8 hours, periodically basted with a blend of apple cider, Jim Beam whiskey, red pepper flake and maple syrup. I usually make this for special occasions or big events, but I especially enjoy making it just-because, serving it with homemade barbecue beans, homemade cole slaw and corn bread from scratch. It is a monumental amount of work, takes days to prepare, almost a whole day to make and disappears in a matter of hours, but the satisfaction of enjoyment, of feeding people and seeing them smile, well, it makes all that effort really worthwhile!

My favorite meal to cook is probably Crab meat linguine, or Chicken Alfredo with a light drizzle sauce on angel hair pasta. I also love to eat them!

I love homemade alfredo with fresh pasta!!! Boy that's tasty. Or a good carbonara! I love to brine a chicken and then roast it as well. Its super moist and extra tasty!
I would say I love the sweet gamy tang of human flesh, but that's just sick!
