I drink water. I never drink sodas. If I do it's like once in like months. Like last week I went to Six Flags I drank a Cherry Coke Icee. First soda in like 5 months.

Usually there is a good reason why someone does not lose weight so you need to examine your life and lifestyle and your health in general. If you do not eat more calories than your body needs per day, you have to lose. Also, if you are eating the right conbinations of foods at the right time, you have to lose. If you couple both of those with a good exercise program, you have to lose. I suggest you start there. Decide how much you want to weigh and find out how many calories you need to take in a day to maintain that weight. If you are hungry after you eat, you are not getting the right types of foods to maintain fullness. Usually you are lacking in fiber and eating too many starches if you feel hungry. Adjust your diet. Look at some good diets out there and see how they are putting them together for those that are losing weight. That will help. Talk to a nutritionalist as well because they are there to help people adjust their food intakes and types in order to stay healthy and at a proper weight for their age and size. Also, if you cannot do any other exercise except walking, you can lose a lot of weight just by doing at least an hour of that a day. Alter it with different paces and stop along the way and do leg bends or arm exercises as well. Stick to it. The pounds will come off. My grandpa used to say that losing weight was as easy as bending your elbow. Get it? Every time you bend your elbow, make sure that there isn't a spoon in your hand.

You need to see a nutritionist because I can only repeat what I've told other people. Stay away from fried foods and candy. Sugary drinks avoid like the plague. Chicken is OK but watch the dressings no mayo or rich sauces. Either grilled or steamed. Drink lots of water. You can have coffee or teas with skimmed milk and artificial sweetener if you like. Eat fruit and veggies. when you get hungry and once a day allow yourself a cookie or two squares of chocolate to cut out the craving for something sweet. Don't over do it with the exercising cos that makes you hungry - levels of sugar in your blood go down and you get hunger pangs. It's common sense really if it has fat or is oily or is very sweet stay away from it. Oh and yogurt = the real stuff not the types with flavorings =is great as a snack -try it with fruit. it's really good for you. There's the light yogurt -fat free. And give yourself some time. sometimes a trauma or a bad phase can play havoc with your metabolism and the body chooses to compensate with food that's why you feel hungry.

First off, know that you are still in the ideal weight range for women that height.
However, you may want to keep a food journal. I know it's a pain, but if you write down how you are feeling, what you ate, and how hungry you felt before and after, it may lend you some clues.
Remember to drink enough water also - many people mistaken thirst for hunger (by the time you recognize that you are actually thirsty, your body is already in deficit for water!)
You also may want to look at the GI (Glycemic Index) of foods. That tells you how quickly certain foods are turned into sugar, which directly affects your energy level.
