But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind anywhere
And I'll redefine anywhere
Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home

...and the earth becomes my throne
I adapt to the unknown
Under wandering stars I've grown
By myself but not alone
I ask no one

Metallica rock!
For me, the wisdom of Metallica is summed up in Until It Sleeps...

Where do I take this pain of mine
I run but it stays right by my side

So tear me open and pour me out
There's things inside that scream and shout
And the pain still hates me
So hold me until it sleeps

Just like the curse, just like the stray
You feed it once and now it stays
Now it stays

So tear me open but beware
There's things inside without a care
And the dirt still stains me
So wash me until I'm clean

They sold out after 'and justice for all'

2 decades later and they're still living off those 4 initial album's success.

They say their new album is more like master of puppets but judging by the songs they've previewed live from it; it's not going to be.

Bon Jovi and now Metallica. Looks like we share the same musical tastes. Any chance you like Linkin Park, Def Leppard and The Who, too?

top band I've been a fan for 22 years and I'm looking forward to the new album which is supposed to be more like the Master of Puppets era material!

Pangel, did Orion get deleted?

I LOVE Metallica, BTW. Except at MY age, it's just too noisy so I can't listen to it for very long. What can I say? I'm just an old fart. LOL

that was the last album that was good, then I watched Lars go through rehab on HBO - things went downhill!
I am hopeful they will once again reign the airways with good solid ballads!

After listening to Lars cry about copyrights and being a non metal wuss in general, I can't bring myself to listening to them anymore.

I love that song.

I especially like the part at the end where they say, "Carved upon my stone, my body lies, but still I roam."

Gives me chills every time.

I always liked the verse "chop your breakfast on a mirror."

I think that was Battery or Master of Puppets.

Retard:
Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech, taken my hearing,
Taken my arms, taken my legs, taken my soul, left me with life in hell.
