I believe it's important to be humble, and I want to show my brother a good example of a humble person . What kind of things should I do for him that would be humbling for me ? What's part of being humble ? What ISN'T part of being humble ?

well .. being humble is one thing and having a humble spirit is one thing ... but i dont think humbling urself before ur brother is a requirement ... humble urself before God ...

Being humble is definitely a way of life. You're off to the right start by wanting to show by example. Humbling yourself could be giving up something that means a lot to you in order for him to have it or something to that affect. Don't over do it. He'll know by your attitude what it is that you mean.

Humbling oneself is a personal thing but on a practical level I believe it means putting the well being of others above one´s personal convenience.

I'll tell you how I did it. I grabbed my brother by the collar and I said "Listen Dummy, I'm a thousand times more humble than you." Then I whooped his butt.
Incidentally, this only works if you're bigger.

Have a servant's heart. Be willing to take the menial jobs at church like cleaning up after the pot lucks, etc. Be available for God to use you in any way.
