I have like two symptoms of HIV , And halfway believe that I may have contracted the disease , yet I am constantly in denial that "everything is fine" I am terrified to death of going in for an HIV test for fear that the news might be bad . If I do indeed have this virus , I would rather die without knowing that I have it . Knowing or finding out that I had it would kill me a lot quicker than the actual ailment . My world would be black , chaotic and full of misery . So for my mental sanity , I would rather not know u guys , and would rather be in constant denial ! PLEASE HELP!

There is now a treatment for HIV that means that over 50% of people will not die, go to your doctor, get diagnozed or you will die sooner rather than never.
I saw it in Yahoo Finance or some stock market newspaper last week, some Bio Tech company has found a way to make the virus die off, not a totoal cure but so lomg as the medecine is taken it will not spread.
Get down to see your doctor, now

You need to know. First off, they have wonderful advances in medical care & treatment for people with HIV & they can prolong the HIV virus from turnng into full blown AIDS a lot better than they used to, but that's only if it's treated early on. People with the HIV virus have a chance at living a lot longer when diagnosed early on. Secondly, you need to know for the sake of other people around you. Unfortunatley, this is something that you are going to have to know, it wouldn't be fair to you or anyone else around you. You may be fine too, you might not have HIV at all. Whatever happens, I wish you the best, good luck!

First off, you have "like two" of the twelve to twenty symptoms and you automatically jump to HIV. Why?
And if it is HIV and you are in "constant denial", how many people are you going to kill with your deliberate ignorance?
One of those is yourself, suicide by deliberate ignorance.
And if it is NOT HIV, and you find out later what it is, and that it could have been cured if found today, but is fatal at the point you did find out, it is still suicide by deliberate ignorance.
Get tested, get treated - for whatever the problem is.

First off the symptoms to HIV could and very well may be the symptoms to other illnesses such as the flu or common cold with cough. I would say to get in to see the Dr soon so that you can know for sure and get the treatment you need to live a longer life then you would if you were just to let it progress. It is scary i know it is and very very hard but you need to know.

You really, really should get tested. HIV isn't the death sentance it used to be. There are people living with HIV for decades now. If not for yourself, you need to protect any potential partners you may have. You sound like you are having some depression about this and should probably talk to a counselor. They will be able to help you through the process.
Please, plase get tested and take care of yourself.

Go in and get checked. As long as you think that you might have HIV, then you might be infecting another person each time you engage in sex. How would it feel to be a murderer? In New York City, you could be tested when you give blood.

You should get tested. Maybe you do not have HIV and perhaps something else, which is curable. However if you do have HIV and you do not tell anyone you are intimate with you could fall into legal problems.

Your biggest problem appears to be your fear of what a positive diagnosis might bring. There are worse ways to die. Do not be afraid. Please get tested and find people to talk with, you can survive this and you are not alone.
