I've always loved Italian. While studying there I met a soprano from Denmark who told me that most opera singers sing in Italian due to the fact that IT IS the most melodious language. According to opera instructors, Italian is the one language where the vowels are pronounced with a completely open mouth. So not only it sounds great, but there's a valid reason why. Bella lingua!

IMHO Italian/Italiano is the most beautiful language I know.
L'italiano è bello! Too bad I already forgot what I learned years ago, except a few tongue twisters like "Trentatrè trentini entrarono a Trento tutti e trenta trotterellando" he he he!

I think we Americans find almost every language attractive. Even English when its being spoken by a Brit or some body with an Italian, Spanish, or french accent.
