Can anyone tell me some exercises i can do that will help me lose belly fat and the fat in my legs. (mostly belly fat though) They can be for either or both.
I can't spend any money on equipment like treadmills or gym memberships or anything like that.
So can anyone help me find some fun exercises that will trim down my belly quickly (or leg fat)? Oh, and preferably, they be inside, but if you have a really good idea that's outside, go ahead and tell me, you and i don't have anything to lose.
Thanks!

P.S. If they show quick results that'd be great too! ;)

If you think you can stay inside and have any noticeable results, you will fail...miserably.
THE BEST exercise for both of those areas is...sprints. No, not jogging, jogging will help frustrate you when you see surprisingly weak results. Try some 100m or 200m sprints. Start easy, maybe only 2-4. Then progressively add an extra sprint every time you do them. Rest for at least 90 seconds in between (active rest is a plus - i.e., walking). Sprinting, unlike jogging, will help keep your body is calorie burning mode all day. Jogging tends to only burn calories during and a short time after the exercise. If you sprint, take it seriously, and really push yourself to do more, you will see some great results in a month. In 2 months you won't even feel like the same person. No one will believe you ran sprints, because everyone says jog, jog, jog. Good luck!
P.S. - if you DO buy rollerblades (waste of money) like the above post mentioned, do your ankles and feet a favor and stay way from wal-mart/target. Go to a sporting goods store and don't spend less than $100 on a pair or you will regret it.

First of all u can't spot reduce!!!! when u lose weight, it comes from all over!!!! U can do ab workouts and leg firming exercises to improve the muscle tone of those areas. However, in order to see the firm muscles, u have to lose the fat around them. You can buy several DVDS: Belly dancing, aerobic dancing, step aerobics,Pilate's, yoga, personal training DVDs (combo of cardio and weight training). I recommend "prevention systems" available at Best Buy and Prevention.com- go to fitness and then to DVDs. Belly dance is fun and it can be a good workout. Start out with the "Goddess Collection" one red DVD and one gold DVD instructed by Delphinia? a Blond Chick. Then work ur way up to the more advanced belly dance DVDs- they can get hard and complicated. Think about what activities u like and make then ur cardio- bike riding, volleyball, tennis, walking. Lift some weights 3 times per wk for about 20 min each. Make the weight challenging and increase the weight as u get stronger. Buy weights at target or walmart.

rollerblades! yes, a little '90s', but they work! its a great leg and butt workout and youll be buring calories so you'll lose belly fat too. its more 'exciting' then running and you can really feel it working the muscles. i live in baltimore and there are lots of old railroad beds that have been turned into paved bike/running trails...these are pretty flat and straight and theyre a great place to rollerblade. look for something like that in your area. also, you can buy rollerblades at target for $20, try walmart too.

crunches on a ball or the floor, really concentrate using your abdominal muscles, making sure you really tire the muscles. Quality, not quantity at first...challenge yourself......and sorry to say it ...... loads of cardio
