I would like for Christians to respond...please!
Let me explain myself. My husband was working for a company that recently went out of business. Also, my husband and I went through a seperation for 8 months and I was seriously contemplating divorce. During the time of seperation, my husbands ex-boss and I developed a non-sexual relationship...feelings got involved. I have since repented and my husband and I are working on our marriage.

Recently I had a dream that I was at my husband's old job and was walking down the hall. When I was just outside of the ex-boss' (the one I got involved with) office I began to float up to the ceiling (levitate). However, when my husband came down the hall; I came back down to the ground.

Can anyone give me an explanation to what this may mean.

It seems as if deep down you delight in the idea of seeing your husbands ex-boss, thus the weightlessness you feel during levitation compares the "weightlessness' or "nervousness" one might experience during the onset of a new relationship.

Your feelings towards your husband have changed since you started to date him years ago. The "weightlessness" is no longer present because you're used to him and no longer "nervous in love" with him the way you used to be.

In other words, everyone knows that when you're together with someone of the opposite sex that your are attracted to you, whether sexual or not, you get the butterfly's in the stomach sensation. That, I believe, is what the levitation meant.

Okay, this is simple, you have some high anxiety over the thoughts, desires, and possibilities that your hubbies old boss represents, and the thought of your husband brings you back down to earth... Nothing big... I interpret dreams all the time, but Y did you want to ask Christians to help and not dream experts? (It's odd that I am "Here" reading questions and answers for Christians, let me tell you!") all my best!

Be careful, dream interpretation is not something to pay any attention to. In the Bible, Joseph interpreted dreams in Genesis, Daniel interpreted his dreams about heaven, and John had visions about heaven in Revelation. Jesus died for your sins, and in doing so, became the fullfiment of the law.

Jesus says in the book of Revelation, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last." This means there became no need for any form of fortune telling (which includes dream interpretation) after Jesus death on the cross.

In short, I don't have any explanation, but I would like you to be wary of dream interpretation.

I am of the opinion that a dream is just a jumble of our thoughts while we sleep...they are not an omen or prediciton or anything of that nature. Our mind just reviews the things we think about when awake but in that state, we confuse things because we don't have the abilbity to sort it out...like a computer that is on an unstable web site...the arrow just darts around,,,and you know something is not quite the way it should be. It means nothing.

Why think it means anything?
During sleep the mind sorts itself out.
At times, it results in dreams.
At best, the rising to the ceiling meant you wish to avoid any relationship with the boss.
Not just avoid, but keep things on a higher plane.
Your husbands appearance made things right, so you came back down.
There is no message being sent in any of this.
Its just your mind sorting things out during sleep.
That's part of what sleep is for.

ok. lemme pull out my jung psychology, revert to hippy mode, and see if i can offer an explanation.... wait. that's not necessary. your dream is obviously an expression of guilt towards what you felt to be a wrong action.

personally, i think that if you were separated, this is fine. however, if it bothers you, perhaps you should tell your husband if you haven't already. and evaluate the issues that led to that point. seek a relationship counselor if necessary.
