I love this question!!! It's actually hard to answer...I think you should be the first to respect yourself for the others to respect you, as well.

A better question is how can you not? Don't try to be someone you are not - if you're both in love you need to love the real person not someone they are pretending to be. Don't ever change who you are for someone else!!!

How can you be yourself when you are NOT in love? It is pretty much the same answer. You're just you in love, instead of you not in love.

Being in love doesn't change who you are, it just makes you want to share yourself with somebody else.
