Im concerned first off that come across as materialistic .
Having said that the most important thing in terms of gifts are not the cost but the thought put into them .Those little esoteric details that he knows about you others dont .

if he takes the time to know realy know what your interest are he will incorporate them into any gift giving .

If i buy her something its not becuase we go to the mall and i buy her something becuase she is at the mall .

I will surprise her when she least expects . she will find the gifts memorable but not something a gold digger would want.

Both but with age comes wisdom . Looks snag a guys attention .Personality keeps a guy attention.If your constantly belittling him or asking him for money or acting insane you wont last long with a person like me .

In terms of looks tho there is a vast disparity in terms of what is needed to attract a man from a womans point of view vs a mans .

Case in point in another thread i described bikini's for the feet .The kind of plastic 1.99 flip flops you get at a discount store . If you give yourself a pedicure and are wearing those flips you look better than a woman who does not take care of her feet.

If i see a woman with a pleasantly plump derrier , i am thinking all kinds of nasty thoughts .

there all types of womans looks and there are all type of guys who have there own definition of what makes a woman physicaly attractive .

I would place pretty feet higher up than a buttman .some guy may like red heads another may detest redheads (my bro hates redheads )

I would do something meaningful and special for her birthday...like take her to a concert that she wants to see.
I would do something romantic for her on Valentine's Day...like take her to a fancy restaurant, maybe a little Victoria Secret and the rest is left to the imagination.
I would buy her things at the mall if we were together...but not like a diamond necklace, more like ice cream or something, maybe a t-shirt.

Birthday, depends on the girl, something to do with a hobby and then something romantic
Valentines Day, a meal or a day spa voucher where she'd get pampered and then dinner with her!

And the mall, yeah, get her something small and silly

And the looks/personality thing.....physical attraction is AS important as mental attraction....but...you don't have sex with a girls personality!!
