Did Jesus drop out of school?

Somebody told me he dropped out of school in the third grade, is that true?

No actually He dropped into school-he stayed at the temple listening and studying while his parents were packing up to head home and they had to go get Him but HE told them HE had to be about HIS Fathers business meaning learning about GODand he was about 12 at that time

They didn't have grade school or high school back then. However, Jesus knew three languages: Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, and he was an expert in Jewish law. So he had to have been smart and studied a great deal.

Actually, if the literature about his youth is correct, his teachers feared him. He knew more than they did.

13 They brought him then to a more learned master, who, when he saw him, said, say Aleph. 14 And when he had said Aleph, he master bade him pronounce Beth; to which the Lord Jesus replied, Tell me first the meaning of the letter Aleph, and then I will pronounce Beth. 15 But this master, when he lift up his hand to whip him, had his hand presently withered, and he died. 16 Then said Joseph to St. Mary, henceforth we will not allow him to go out of the house; for every one who displeases him is killed.

Jesus never went to school. Mary and Joseph taught Him at home!
