Paxil (paroxetIne) is an anti depressant. St Johns Wort is administered in Europe and the United States as a herbal non-prescription treatment for depression. Go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-depressants#Non-mainstream-treatments for information on other non-prescription drugs and medications.

For more info on Paxil just type "paxil" into Yahoo! web search and a number of links comes up. Same with "St. Johns Wort".

Good luck, good health, peace and love!

Ignore that answer it's rude. I hear a herb called St John's Wort is meant to help with depressions. It's known for this around the world, perhaps research it... considering it myself. However it is NOT safe to take until you have stopped Paxil, it's safe without other antidepressants, but not with them.

None. Zilch. Nada. That I know of. Don't do this kind of drug.

Why do so many people rely on pills? And why are so many people depressed, with all the advantages and conveniences of our modern world. Why aren't people happy? Stop being weak and dependant on drugs. Be strong minded. Councel yourself. Read self-help books.

Get religious, go to church and listen and sing praises to the Lord. You'll find hope there.

Face the Gun, hope that love will find the way.

(Some people can really get you down, though.)

don't try and switch off paxil without talking to your doctor - there are withdrawal effects involved
