beer is still in the bottles which have ceramic tops and rubber seals along with the metal pieces holding the tops in place still in 2 pack holder any info is appreciated

Grolsch is still available in specialty shops in that format. If they are very old, however, don't drink them. Beer in green bottles like Grolsch are prone to being spoiled by the light.

That is how Grolsch bottles their product. I think the bottles are 16 ounces. Last time I had any it was more than 12 ounces.

Originally beer bottles were done similar to this. Usually they were quart bottles with the wire and ceramic cork but they had either a cork seal or tin/zinc seal way back when.
