Try talking to people on the phone about what they did that day. Ask them questions.
Look out the windows and watch the birds.

"house bound???" for some health or legal reason unable to leave your house?
During my pregnancies, I was confined to my bed or the couch for up to 5 months straight.
This is how I got through it.
I figured I was "ON VACATION" in my own bed.
Available to me was anything I could do laying down.
I got a tray with sides on it, to keep at my side. On it I had a cool drink, paper and pen and scissors, something to read or materials to make something with. The telephone was also within my reach.
During that time I worked on sewing projects, crochet projects, reading and writing, folding laundry and mating socks, peeling potatoes, reading lots of stories to my kids, artwork, letter writing, phone calls, actually reading the newspaper. Watched a little TV or movies. And did a few exercises, sorted drawers, paid bills, did my taxes, helped kids with homework, settled their arguements, played building blocks and legos with them, Listened to music practice. and there was so much more I have difficulty recalling.
Just how limited are you? If you can sit-up or Walk around?
If your OCD is what is tying you down........
I heard of a person with similar issues who gained the use of a working-guide-dog. The person's Dr. greatly helped in getting this person into a condo, and worked with this person to be able to move, to feel safe in the new place, and to take the dog shopping or whatever errrands necessary. It was working well.

awww.. i have ocd also. my ocd consists of most things making me feel ill. like touching wood that isnt glossy. or hearing metal scraping. or even simple sounds, like when someone blows on a childs tummy, that makes me have to put pressure on my lips, otherwise i go insane. lol i know, it is weird. i also have panic attacks from normal everyday things. like thinking about how your leg and knee bone glides together as you walk makes me feel really sick, and i have to sit down. uggh i hate it.
i am homebound due to my severe social anxiety. i have no kids or family to take care of, so i dont have much to do. something you may like is playing a game called runescape. a lot of adults play it, more than you may think. i do, and i am just about 23. grandmas love playing, as you can garden in the game lol. but its something fun to do, and there are adult groups out there that play it who are in similar situations as you. consider it, you may like it :)
good luck though, and take care.
