I studied parasitology and the life cycle of the pinworm goes like this.... you ingest an egg, it passes through your system and hatches. The worms live in your intestines and reproduce. At night when you sleep, they crawl out of your bum and lay eggs on your buttocks. They itch when they crawl out and die and you scratch. You have eggs on your hands and clothing and bedding and you end up ingesting more eggs and reinfecting yourself. Usually kids get these infections because they don't wash their hands a whole lot. The parents get them from the kids. If the eggs are on bedding and you shake out a sheet, the eggs are airborne and you get them in your mouth when you breathe. The only way to get rid of pinworms without medication is to completly rid your house of the eggs, and to not reinfect yourself with new eggs. If you don't reinfect yourself, eventually the worms you do have will die off. This method is nearly impossible to make work and your best bet is a doctor. I know you don't want a doctor response but the truth isn't always what you want to hear.

The medications used for the treatment of pinworm are mebendazole, pyrantel pamoate, and albendazole. All three of these drugs are to be given in 1 dose at first and then another single dose 2 weeks later. Pyrantel pamoate is available without prescription. The medication does not reliably kill pinworm eggs. Therefore, the second dose is to prevent re-infection by adult worms that hatch from any eggs not killed by the first treatment.Health practitioners and parents should weigh the health risks and benefits of these drugs for patients under 2 years of age.

Oh dear...
Firstly, have a bath EVERY NIGHT. This might not work at first, but it stops the pain at night and they will eventually be cleaned out
Secondly, go to your nearest store and buy Pin-X. You might think this is a waste of money, (5ml a day, gone soon?!) but pinworms are common and they might come back again. If this happens, as soon as you realise, you can end it, before it gets very bad.
Good luck sweetie - and don't worry, I've had pinworms LOADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can't afford a doctor, call your county health department. They will tell you where to get free help for your problem. Nothing you eat is going to get rid of pinworms - you need medicine.

You need 2 doses of medication. One to kill the worm now and another in 2 weeks to get the new hatch.
It's easily spread to others in the house so in the meantime ...
Practice good hygiene.
Washing your hands before eating or preparing meals helps prevent spread of infection.
Avoid scratching the anal region.
Avoid biting your fingernails.
Keep fingernails short and clean.
Wash all bedding and pajamas regularly.
Change underwear daily.
Frequently vacuum.
Despite these measures, it still may be quite difficult to avoid reinfecting yourself or spreading pinworms to others.

ask the pharmacist for a medicine called Pin-X. it's not a prescription but is kept behind the counter. Some foods that may help you do to the bathroom like fiber or spinach will flush out the live ones but it won't kill anything,

no, those will not work
if you go the health food store and get black walnut pills and take them they will work, better yet, if you can afford the cleanse for parsasites which has black walnut in it and a bunch of other stuff then you should get that (usually is 20-30$)
Sometimes GNC or Rite Aid has parasite cleanses but you usually have to go to your health food store

Goyoza 1216 is right sweetheart: your not going to get rid of these by eating food. Your going to get so infested your going to literally starve to death, maybe not to death but to a skeletal frame, your condition will be apparent.
I suggest as the other did, to call the County Health district and see what they can help you with, if at all, then follow the others direction and see the pharmacist and see what he can give you. I'd rather beg then to have these in me. You want to start cleaning real good also. Especially your bedding.
