Everywhere is Aussie is the best holiday destination although Cairns in Tropical Queensland is the fastest growing place for tourists. It's a regional city with an international airport.
Ideal climate all year around - interesting natural attractions such as the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

My top picks are:::
The Great Barrier Reef
World’s largest coral reef system, and on the World Heritage Site listed as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Anywhere and everywhere. That's like asking what part of the USA or Europe is the best holiday destination. Australia is bigger than both of them. Read something about Australia and then decide what you want to see. I've lived here for fifty years and have seen a lot of it but there is always more to see.
